Hi guys and welcome back to my blogger. This week on my blogger I will be sharing my PBL reflection. PBL stands for Project Based Learning. For our PBL we had to chose something related about the Olympics to learn about. I choose Artistic gymnastics. I made a slide all about Artistic gymnastics. After we did our project we had to do a reflection. The last few weeks I have enjoyed learning about artistic gymnastics and slideshows and models.

• Something I enjoyed about my project was that we got to learn h           because...

• The most challenging thing about my project was... making the bars                because… I had to make circles and they kept breaking every time I kept trying to make them.

• The main skill I got better at was...making the bars   I got better at it by...trying hard and unfortunately I got there.

• Something interesting I learnt was...  That the boy’s only have six events and the girls have four events.                    

• What I would most like to change about my project is...That the bars went crooked and they didn’t swing       because… I used cardboard instead of string.

Hi guys welcome back to my blog, today I am going to be blogging about our P.E. We have been doing a lot of things with P.E. like running games, and hoop games Mrs love takes the running game, Mrs Carr has been taking a hoop game and Mr M we haven't been to yet. Hi guy's welcome back to my blog. Today I will be blogging about my art. There are three art groups there is, Digital art, Painting and Sketching. I am in the sketching group with Mrs Carr. Mr Moriarty takes the digital art, Mrs Love takes painting and Mrs Carr takes sketching. On my art I drew a, pencil, a pencil sharpener, then a tape roll. Some scissors, a ruler, then a glue stick and a hot dog poems book. So I hope you enjoyed this blog bye.

Hi guys. Welcome back to my blog. Today I will be blogging about my literacy. I am in Mrs Love's literacy group. In our literacy group we do heaps of pieces of paper, practising an activity called cloze. Here is a sentence in one of the papers.: The Kiwi is a bird that lives in the bush. Welcome back to Ella's blog. Today I will be talking about maths the other day. We did three swap arounds. First swap I was on tables master on five times tables. In my 5 times tables my fastest time was 32 seconds. On the second swap around, I went to maths bowling. Maths bowling is where you have 20 little balls and in each ball there is one number. On the third swap around, I went to Mrs Love for proper maths and we did some subtraction, addition and divided bys. Each swap around we had 10 minutes for each one.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog I am blogging about all types of graphs. This week in Rimu we have been learning about all type's of graphs. Line graphs can also be used to compare changes of the same thing over time for more than one group. Pie chart are best to use when you are trying to compare parts of a whole. They probably do not show changes over time. Bar graph are used to compare things between different groups or to track change times. I had so much fun making a stem and leaf graph with tape and then we had to rip it up.

1: We got into a group of four.

2: We got timed one minute for star jumps.

On my first round of star jumps in one minute I got sixty five star jumps.
On my second round of star jumps in one minute I got one hundred star jumps.

On Jordan's first round of star jumps in one minute she got sixty nine star jumps.
On Jordan's second round of star jumps in one minute she got seventy nine star jumps.

On Sienna's first round of star jumps in one minute she got seventy star jumps.
On Sienna's second round of star jumps in one minute she got eighty eight star jumps.

On Tylah's first round of star jumps in one minute she got sixty eight star jumps.
On Tylah's second round of star jumps in one minute she got eighty nine star jumps.

Artistic Gymnastic's:)

Hi guys and welcome back to Ella's Blog I am blogging about gymnastics. Gymnastics was the first ever sport in the Olympics.

 In Rimu we're learning about the Olympics because the Olympics are coming up. The Olympics has all types of sports in it.

 Here is some of the sports that are in the Olympics, Archery, basketball, boxing, diving, gymnastics artistic, swimming, taekwondo, shooting, triathlon, football, hockey and gymnastics rhythmic. Here is five  interesting facts about gymnastics rhythmic's.

On the two week holidays. My mum, Sam, Me, Lucas and Mason. Went to the movies to watch the BFG  (stands for the Big, Friendly, Giant.) and Finding Dory. On the first week of the holidays we watched the BFG and the second week we watched Finding Dory. The  BFG  was a really cool kids movie. Close to the end of the movie all Sophie had to say was the BFG and the BFG came straight away to Sophie. Sophie got to live with the queen and she never had to live in an orphanage again.  Close to the start of finding Dory, Dory was playing hide and go seek with her parents Dory started to count to ten. And this is what she said,

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, one, ready or not here I come" said Dory. Dory was a cute little fish who lost her parents when she was a little baby fish.

Hi and welcome back to my blog I am blogging about my learning task my favorite learning task is my writing task. My writing is when we had to do a free choice writing. I am proud of my writing because it is about the wonderful nature.

 

As you look into the sun all you can see all the wonderful things. A little pond full of amazing spring water as you dip your hand into the gleaming water so clear that you pick it up you won’t even see it. All you can see is the shining sun glittering on the clear spring water. It is so bright that all you can see is gleaming spring water splashing in to a pond full of shining spring water all around the little pond is a hole bunch of flowers. The water fountain is like steps but the spring water slips down like a fish swimming down a slide.The flowers look like a colourful array of fruit all all piled up like a bundle of envelopes. The flowers are all bundled up with a living organism of the kind plants. There are a colour of intermediate of the sky or sea on a sunny day. There are gleaming solid mineral material forming part of the surface of the earth and other similar planets.

The last eight weeks we have been doing passion project. A passion project is something you've always wanted to do. My passion project was singing because at home I've made like eleven songs. Here is a video of me singing some of my songs.

Welcome back to Ella's blog I am blogging because I am blogging about my favorite learning task from Matariki. My favorite Matariki task was the tukutuku panels because I love weaving x's on boards it is fun. My tukutuku panel was the steps. It was also fun doing it I was so lucky that I picked it I never knew what it was  before I was working on it. The tukutuku panel workshop was with Mrs Cacace. The matariki workshop was in the resource room. Hope you enjoyed my story.

This week we have been learning about our learning muscle. A learning muscle is something we use in Rimu. Learning muscles are something you use to stop getting distraction there are all types of learning muscles. Reflectiveness muscle, reciprocity muscle, resilience muscle and  resourcefulness muscle. In each muscle there are a few different things like in reflectiveness muscle there is, distilling, meta- learning, revising and planning. And in reciprocity muscle there is, empathy, listening, imitation, interdependence and collaboration.

Hello my name is Ella and this is my first year in Rimu.  My favorite learning task is Reading.  My favourite sport is soccer because my mum taught me how to play. I am 8 years old, and I am 9 this year. I have 5 pets, there names are Gizmo, Bear, Lucy, Girl_girl and Tigger  I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I have a lot of  friends and my parents names are Leigh and Daniel. I like my parents they are fun and sometimes silly.  My favourite breakfast is pancakes.
